In which country was Albert Einstein born?


Albert Einstein was born in Germany in 1879 to Jewish parents. Einstein attended a public German school, and he was also taught Judaism and given violin lessons at his home.

After making several visits to the United States, Einstein was given a position at Princeton University, and he became a permanent American resident in 1935 and eventually a citizen in 1940. In addition to being an American citizen, Einstein was a citizen of Switzerland.

He was offered the position of president in Israel in 1952; however, due to health reasons, he declined the position. Einstein died in 1955 in Princeton, New Jersey.
