# Internal Resistance Experiment?

An internal resistance experiment is done when one is studying physics. They are often done to teach students how to measure internal resistance and EMFs of a cell. The experiment is often done to show the efficiency of energy. While the experiment is often done with a type of cell battery, the experiment is also often done with a potato, since the potato will also have some sort of resistance. This is also a way to teach students how to use voltmeters.
