i know from health class that marijuana is a depressant drug. This means is slows you down instead of speeds you up. It causes slow reaction times and brain activity.

Marijuana is a a depressant. With the sophisticated cultivation techniques today the level of THC, the mind altering ingredient, in marijuana is on the rise. In 1974 it was 1% and by 1994 the level had increased to 4%. In other words, pot is getting stronger and stronger.
