Is Sunlight Matter?

Sunlight is the electromagnetic radiation that is given off by the Sun. The Suns rays are infrared, visible, and ultraviolet light. Sunlight is not considered matter because it does not have a mass. The sunlight is filtered through the Earths atmosphere before it hits us. When the Sun is above the horizon we call that daylight. Sunshine can be experienced when solar radiation is not blocked by the clouds. When clouds do block the sunlight we experience diffused light on Earth.
