Is the Moon Hot or Cold?

Answer

The moon can get very hot or very cold depending on the location and time, and is largely due to the moon not having a protective atmosphere like earth has. Our atmosphere reflects harmful sun rays, and keeps in heat when the sun is not hitting the surface. The moon can get as hot as 110 degrees centigrade or as cold as -150 degrees centigrade in just one day!
