Itchy Rash on Chest and Back?

Answer

Shingles, measles and chicken pox are rashes that can appear on your back and chest. Shingles is caused by the chicken pox virus. After you have had chicken pox the virus will remain inactive in your nerve cells. If it is reactivated during your adulthood it causes shingles. They first appear as an itch or tingling sensation. You will notice a rash that resembles chickenpox to appear later. Shingles will usually resolve within a few weeks if it is untreated.
