James Gamble Biography?

Born April 3, 1803 in Enniskillen, Ireland, James Gamble is best known for his business partnership with William Procter. They opened their first store as Procter & Gamble in 1837 in Cincinnati. They became famous as the soap supplier to the Union Army during the Civil War and the company is still in business today. Gamble died in Cincinnati on April 29, 1891.
