# Law of Syllogism?

The law of syllogism is a concept used in deductive reasoning. In it you will form a conclusion out of two conditional statements. This conclusion is formed by combining a hypothesis of one of the statements with the conclusion of another statement. Therefore: P leads to Q and Q leads to R, so that means P leads to R. There is a possibility that this could lead to a false statement. The law of syllogism is an example of the Transitive Property.
