Mardi Gras?

Answer

Mardi Gras is also known as Carnival season and is filled with parades, balls, and celebrations. Traditions include wearing the colors purple, green, and gold. Some will wear masks and costumes. There are parades held every day, but not in the French Quarter as some believe. The parade begins Uptown at the corner of Franklin Avenue and North Rampart Street. It then makes a turn west of Royal Street, turns southeast of Toulouse, northeast on Decatur Street, north on Frenchman Street, and then east on North Rampart Street.
