Why is there no water coming out of the faucet?

Answer

When no water is coming out of the faucet the cause could be a broken pipe or that the source has been shut off. In homes with a water pump the pump may have burned out. An air pressure tank could be the culprit if the air pressure inside is higher than what is required for the tank control to tell the water pump to turn on. Homes with a shut off valve could have had the valve shut off for some reason, and requires only having it turned back on. If a pump or pressure tank exists they may have thrown the electrical breaker that controls them or the control panel and capacitor for the pump may have burned out.
