October's Party is a poem by George Cooper. It is about how the month of October is filled with colors, sounds, and everything special to give it a party like feel. The first part of the poem goes: October gave a party; The leaves by hundreds came The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples, And leaves of every name. The Sunshine spread a carpet, And everything was grand, Miss Weather led the dancing, Professor Wind the band.
