# Oysters Per Bushel?

It is impossible to know how many oysters are in one bushel because oysters are found in various sizes. For the most part, it is assumed there are 100 oysters in the bushel, but there may be more or less depending on the size. This will feed anywhere from four to six people. There are also ways you can buy oysters by size where more or less will be included, but they will all be roughly the same size. This makes preparing and cooking the oyster easier.
