Zeus was known for his fury, and being in control of lightening and weather. He also had numerous lovers and was also called heroic for saving his siblings from his father. In addition, he was also referred to as 'the Lord of Justice' by the Greek poet Hesiod since his task was to insure the Greeks followed the laws.
