Pool Sand Base?

Answer

For a pool sand base, most every above ground pool is installed using fine mason sand as the base under the pool. One of the most important things when installing the pool is making sure the bottom of the pool will be as smooth, level, and flat as possible. Other materials can be substituted such as vermiculite base or foam, but the higher cost for these materials isn't really worth it when mason sand is easily available and costs less.
