Pros and Cons of Overfishing?

Answer

Overfishing refers to the practice of fishing too much in any one given area, thus producing a shortage of fish in that area. Commercial fishermen have to be careful of overfishing, or they will contribute to the demise of some aquatic life forms. Commercial fishing is necessary for sustenance of humans. Most people don't catch their own fish, they buy fish at a local market. The fish at the market come from commercial fishing techniques. If commercial fisherman aren't careful, they can wipe out one level in a food chain, thus creating a problem for all of the species in that area. The fish that dine on the missing fish will also perish and the fish that are used for feeding the missing fish will increase in abundance.
