Where is the San Joaquin County Jail?

Answer

The San Joaquin County Jail is located in French Camp, California at 999 West Matthews Road. As of 2014, the phone number for the Custody Division within the Sheriff's Office for visitors is (209) 468-4384.

The San Joaquin County Jail is divided into three separate departments: The Honor Farm, South Jail and Jail Core. To avoid confusion, the directions on the San Joaquin County Sheriff website explain further to take the Matthews Road exit off of Interstate 5 to reach the jail. After driving westbound for a mile on Matthews Road, turn right on Canlis Blvd. for "Intake and Jail Visiting." To visit The Honor Farm, stay on Matthews Road past Canliss Blvd. to Wolfe Road, entering at the public gate.
