The Scream painting was created by artist Edvard Munch in 1893. He made a total of four copies between 1893 and 1910. They were created using pastel, oil, and tempera on cardboard. The original painting is on display at the National Gallery in Oslo Norway as of April 22, 2013. It was originally titled The Scream of Nature by the artist. All four pieces of artwork are still around and displayed at different museums around the world.
