How can I repair a Shure SM58?

In order to repair a Shure SM58 microphone, you have to first unscrew the grill from the main part of the microphone. Place it in a solution of mild detergent and water and clean it off with a damp cloth. Make sure to remove all dirt and debris from the grill. Next, scrub the foam diaphragm with an old soft bristle toothbrush. You will need to hold the microphone upside down to prevent water from getting into the rest of the microphone.
