Philippines is a sovereign state in Southeast Asia in the western Pacific Ocean. It is endowed with a range of energy sources which include oil estimated at 138 million barrels, natural gas whose reserves are located off shore above the country's deep-sea oil reserves. It also has coal geothermal energy and hydroelectric energy.
