The main weaknesses of a democracy is too much room for corruption in government, money controls everything and at times the minority can control the majority. The strengths are the people elect leaders, more government run social services, chance for a robust economy and the citizens are more likely to be satisfied. Also, in a true democracy, there are more individual freedoms and rights.
