Sunpro Tach can be wired by connecting the black wire to a clean unpainted ground using a ring terminal, connect the red wire to any battery harness that provides power when the power is 'On' position, connect the white wire to the instrument panel lighting circuit, the green wire to the negative side of the ignition coil and also the green wire to the tachometer output lead such that sounds can easily be made.

MSD had a module a few years back that would convert a tach signal. Not sure hear da rumor about using a wire off the obdii port, but never seen anyone with a mitsu do it and work
