Tannis Root?

Answer

"Tannis root" is a fictional plant created for the film "Rosemary's Baby" and was associated with evil in the film. Its first appearance is when Minnie gives Terry's pendant to Rosemary and it smells of "tannis root." Later, Rosemary's old friend Hutch learns that Rosemary is imbibing tannis root daily (within Minnie's health drink), which is causing her increasingly unhealthy appearance.
