The temperate climate is located in two different zones. The north temperate zone is located at around 23.5 degrees north latitude to around 66.5 degrees north latitude. The south temperate zone begins around 23.5 degrees south latitude and is then to approximately 66.5 degrees south latitude. The temperate climate includes a subtropical climate and variants. Much of the earths population is located in the temperate zones. Much of the United States is located in the temperate climate zone.
