The Texas economy is one of the fastest growing industries in the nation. The three major industries that Texas is responsible for is cattle, cotton, and lumber. They are the number one state in the country in the production of cattle and cotton. They gross over 100 billion dollars in international trade market; which mainly is from the cotton industry. Texas has the 14th largest economy in the World. In 2011, the state had a yearly revenue of just over one trillion dollars, which was second largest revenue in the country that year.
