Text messaging language is a way to type on various applications like text messaging, email, instant messaging, Twitter, Facebook, and various forums. This way to communicating shortens everyday phrases into two to eight letter words, or less. There are at least a thousand of these messaging lingo abbreviations some experts claim. A factor that determines the type of lingo used is who is speaking. For example, a gamer on a game site will use different lingo than a CEO of a business communicating with his employees.
