Which Cavities Are the Lungs Located in?

The lungs are located in the Pleural cavity this is the space where the one develops and grows and can be thought of, as though it were the inside of a balloon as the one develops introduces a layer of pleural which can be thought of as the outside skin that protects the lungs. The lungs will grow and function within the safety of this cavity for the duration of their lifespan.
