Tingling all over the body can be caused by a number of different reasons. The main cause of tingling in the body is nerve damage to the neck or spinal cord. The nerve damage can radiate pain and a pins and needles sensation throughout the body especially down the back and through the arms and legs and up to the head. An anxiety disorder or a panic attack can also cause a tingling sensation throughout the body. It can also make a person feel dizzy and lightheaded. Other health problems that can cause tingling include diabetes, multiple sclerosis, and tumors.
