Tumor behind the Eye?

Answer

There are two types of tumors that can occur in the back portion of the eye. One is an iris tumor. It is located behind the iris of the eye and is generally a cyst rather than a tumor; however, malignant melanoma can occur here. Orbital tumors are any kind of tumor that occurs behind the eye. They tend to push the eyeball forward and most need to be removed if possible. These tumors can be thyroid eye disease, lymphoid tumors, hemangiomas, lachrymal gland tumors, and growths from the sinuses.
