Types of Pathogens?

Answer

There are different types of pathogens. A pathogen is a disease-causing organism that infects its host with either a bacteria, a virus, a fungus, or a prion. It can infect humans, animals, and plants. Contaminated soil, person-to-person airborne contact, sexual contact, body fluids, blood contamination, and fecal contamination are the easiest ways to transmit a pathogen to a host. Some types of pathogens include chickenpox, influenza, smallpox, measles, mumps, ebola, mad cow disease, and Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease.
