Ucagco Ceramics Japan?

Answer

United China and Glass Company is often shortened to UCAGCO. This imprint is often seen on many different types of ceramics, some originating in Japan. This stamp does not necessarily make the piece of ceramic more valuable, however. The value of a piece is quite often determined by the age as well as the condition of the piece. Japanese pottery and porcelain does, however, date back to the Neolithic period. Some pieces can be quite rare and valuable.
