Unemployment W2?


Any supplemental unemployment that is received from a company financed fund is not considered unemployment compensation and has to be reported on Form W-2 for tax purposes. If you received any unemployment benefits during the year, you should receive Form 1099-G which will show how much you were paid. Any and all unemployment compensation must be included in income on tax forms. In some cases, if you received unemployment benefits, you may have to make quarterly estimated tax payments.
