What are the US Territories?

Answer

US Territories are lands that are directly overseen by the United States Federal Government. A list of these territories would include the United States Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands, and Puerto Rico. Territories started when the borders of the United States were still forming, this allowed newly acquired land to be governed.
