The formula for voltage is electrical voltage is equal to the current times resistance. The formula is represented as V-IR, with V standing for electrical voltage, I as the current, and R as resistance. The formula is called Ohmâ€â&dbquo;¢s Law. Georg Ohm worked on resistance in 1825 and 1826 and his results were published in the book Die falvanische Kette, mathematisch bearbeitet in 1827.
