# Voltage Formula?

The formula for voltage is electrical voltage is equal to the current times resistance. The formula is represented as V-IR, with V standing for electrical voltage, I as the current, and R as resistance. The formula is called OhmÃ¢â‚¬â&dbquo;¢s Law. Georg Ohm worked on resistance in 1825 and 1826 and his results were published in the book Die falvanische Kette, mathematisch bearbeitet in 1827. Ohm drew on the work of Joseph Fourier on heat conduction.
