There are not a whole lot of ethical responsibilities of an employer when faced with employees of different cultures. One thing that most employers will allow is time off for religious reasons such as holidays. However, if it is not one of the companies holidays then you must use one of your vacation days. An employer doesn't really have to make allowances for your cultural differences. They have contracted with you to perform certain functions at a specific rate of pay. Employers should allow you to wear specific clothing or head pieces if it is part of your religion. However, in some instances they cannot make this allowance. For example: someone dressing in the parks at Walt Disney World is not going to be able to wear traditional dress if they are working in the parks as they have to wear a specific uniform.
