What Are Examples of Simple Machines?

Answer

There are six different simple machines. They are the pulley, lever, wedge, wheel and axle, inclined plane, and the screw. An example of the pulley is a block and tackle used to lift loads. An example of the lever is a hammer. A wedge can be an axe blade. An example of the wheel and axle can be seen on any car. Inclined planes can be found at any playground and it is the slide. Finally a screw is self explanatory and can be found at the local hardware store.
