What Are Some Examples of Magnets?

Answer

There are three main types of magnets. They include permanent magnets which retain a level of magnetism when magnetized. These are further classified into four classes which are Neodymium Iron Boron, Samarium Cobalt, Alnico and Ceramic or Ferrite. Other types of magnets are temporary magnets which act like a permanent magnet when they are within a strong magnetic field, but lose their magnetism once the magnetic field disappears and electromagnet which is a strongly wound helical coil of wire that acts like a permanent magnet when current is flowing in the wire.
