What Are Subtopics in Writing?

Answer

When creating a written piece, one of the steps you can take is to include subtopics. Subtopics, in writing, are a way that can help you to break up the piece into sections. Each section will have its own theme or collection of paragraphs. The subtopic is a stand-alone topic. However, it, along with the others on the page or in the paper, will all relate in some way to the main topic of the piece. Subtopics help with organization and reader-friendliness.
