Plastics have various disadvantages and some of these are: environmental damage, since they require a very long time in order to decay, suffocation to animals and children, and threat to human and animal life. Other effects are; they release toxic fumes into the environment once they are burnt and the fact that they cannot be recycled since they are a non-renewable source of energy makes them very dangerous.
