What Are the Laws Regarding Children and Airbags?

Answer

It is illegal to carry children in the front passenger seat if the child is in a rearward facing car seat and the passenger seat has an active frontal airbag. It is however okay to carry them on the seat if they are using the child restraint properly i.e. facing forward. Children over 135 cm tall do not have to use a booster seat, but they must still use the adult seat belt.
