It consists of 7 larger islands; Gran Canaria, La Palma, Gomera, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Tenerife, Hierro and a few smaller ones; Alegranza , Roque del Oeste, Graciosa, Montana Clara, Roque del Este und Lobos.
