Bob Marley, also known as Robert Nesta Marley, was a Jamaican reggae singer, whose cause of death was as a result of a cancerous growth discovered in his toe in 1977.The cancer had slowly spread through his vital organs and had started infecting his brain. He refused treatment after the initial diagnosis, since the amputation of the growth would be in conflict with his Rastafarian beliefs.
