What Causes Concentrated Urine?

Answer

Concentrated urine is caused by a number of factors, the first and most common cause is dehydration. The second reason is an increased secretion of anti-diuretic hormone (ADH) which then causes increased tubular water re-absorption and decreased urine volume. Other causes include stress reactions, trauma, surgery and drugs.
