What date is mexican independence day?

Answer

Mexico celebrates it's independence on September 16th. That is the official holiday of Independence Day in Mexico. Though many people seem to think Cinco de Mayo is the Mexican Independence Day, it isn't. That is a whole different celebration and doesn't even apply to the whole country of Mexico.
