Pioneers wore hand made clothing that was most always made by the women in the family. Most pioneers wore clothes made of wool, linen, or cotton. Men wore overalls and jackets, while women wore long skirts or dresses.
Pioneers had to get their clothes from wool from the sheep. The pioneer then had to spin the wool on a spinning wheel. They only had one or two outfits. Their clothes were for working. The boys did not have zippers in their pants.
