What did Shakespeare do before he became a writer?


There are quite a few things that Shakespeare might have done before he became a writer. Because it was during his 'dark years,' not much is known about his life before he started writing. Many people speculate that he worked for his father who was a commodities merchant, glover, and yeoman. Shakespeare was also known for working as an actor and a set designer.
