The Iroquois ate a variety of foods from the forest. These included berries such as wild cherries, currents, strawberries, huckleberries and nuts. Also, planted crops were very important to the Iroquois diet especially the Three Sisters which were corn, beans and squash. The different kinds of meat they ate were deer, bear, rabbit, squirrel, raccoons and fowl.
