In the 1950?s, fashion started emerging amongst the young people in Britain. Women wore boxy classic Chanel suit jackets and slim skirts in braid trimmed, nubby, and highly textured tweeds. People also wore swing coat by Jacques Fath, the H-line of 1954, a slender tunic suit, full skirted and waist designs were common amongst women. The early shoes were very high, but with rounded or peep toes and low cut front uppers.?
