What do Euro coins look like?


Like other coins, the Euro coin has two faces; one face is ordinary to all the country members and represents unity between the European Union member states and the other face illustrates national symbols selected by different countries. However, all coins are conventional in all euro area countries, regardless of their national face.

A Euro coin comes in various denominations string, from a cent to two Euros. One side of the coin has the map of Europe while the other side bears unique designs depending on the member country's choice. The currency as a whole is managed by the European Central Bank.
