What Do Pecans Look like?


The edible portion of a pecan looks very similar to a walnut, but the exterior of a pecan is smooth, seamless and darker in color than a walnut. Pecans are sweeter than a walnut. Strictly speaking pecans are a fruit rather than a nut.
