What do wild strawberries look like?

Answer

Wild strawberries are normally small, with 5-petaled flowers and 3-parted leaves. They are much smaller than the commercial strawberry having 10 tiny, green sepals cupping the base. The earls, dukes and princes used the strawberries as emblems on the crowns.
